What is the best piano to by if your a beginner?

My bad I spelled buy wrong.

Buy used! Many universities have yearly sales with great buys. Look for famous name brands for reliability in construction. A studio upright (52") basically takes a grand piano and stands it on end, the sound of these is fuller. If you have the room you can go for a grand, but as a beginner, that's probably over the top.

DO NOT BUY A KEYBOARD! The action is totally different and you will not learn the techniques necessary on a full sized piano keyboard.

Look at Kawai, Yamaha for starters, but definitely get a used one.

    Yamaha. thats what i started with. its preet amazing. dont start with a keyboard. it doesnt give you the whole piano notes you wont be able to practice as much. once you learn to play the piano you can teach yourself any instrument really. thats what i didnt im supper glad i did too

    get a cheap upright, i recommend yahama. Do not (i repeat) DO NOT get a keyboard, if you start on a keyboard when you actually get on a piano it will be more difficult and also keyboards suck.

    well i wanted a real piano when i started but i had no room to put it so i started off with a heavy weighted keyboard its a casia priva

    Sometimes you can get an inexpensive upright from a college that’s selling off stuff to buy new. I’d advise an inexpensive brand rather than sinking a lot of cash into a Steinway, for instance!

    UM lets see… maybe “Hot Cross Buns”, “Mary Had a Little Lamb” and try some scales… like C Major Scale. C,D,E,F,G. That’s is like for beginners ’cause i play the Piano and i have taken lessons! so that’s it! and try looking for some music schools! But its better if u have a PRIVATE lessons! I have a link for you to look at the nearest place for lessons! Enjoy the Piano!

    start with a keyboard. in early stages, you dont need the pedal.

    then go to an upright because they are less expensive and they have all three pedals

    then you can choose between a baby grand and a grand piano.

    well i would personally say start with a keyboard (64 or more keys). i took lessons for 10 years and i started on a keyboard. i also say that because you might not like the piano after you start lessons and if you give up on piano you don;t want a upright or grand sitting in the corner. if you can get a real piano cheap go for it , but other wise a keyboard is an okay i idea
