What's a good beginner piano series geared for young adults?

I'm about to teach a 19 year old piano. She's brand new. All the book series I've found so far are all geared for young children. Does anyone know of any books that are written and constructed for an older students? Thanks!

How to play the Piano – A step by step guide by Nick French.
- Its good to learn from, and not geared towards young children.
